William W. Stauffer

William W. Stauffer, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital. He was born in West Earl Township, a son of the late Jacob S. and Magdalena (Wenger) Stauffer. He was married to Mary (Stauffer) Stauffer and the late Elva (Martin) Stauffer and the late Minnie (Sensenig) Stauffer. He was a member of Stauffer Mennonite Church. William retired from Big Dutchman, formally Favorite Manufacturing. In addition to his wife, William is survived by four children, Robert (Grace) Stauffer, of New Holland, Marlene (Titus) Brubacker, of Ephrata, Clyde (Pricilla) Stauffer, of Port Trevorton, and Delores (Ray) Brubacker, of Ephrata; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one sister, Magdalena (Donald) Wenrich, of Mohnton; two sisters-in-law, Arlene Stauffer, of Bainbridge, Ohio, and Mary Stauffer, of Ephrata. In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by two infant children, Charles and Minerva; one granddaughter, Darla Brubacker; four brothers, Paul, Ivan, Jacob and Mahlon; and seven sisters, MaryAnn, Pricilla, Sarah, Susanna, Martha and Rachel. A viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the late residence, 2011 Division Highway, Ephrata, where a funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Further services at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Stauffer Mennonite Church, 2530 Division Highway, Ephrata. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
