Millmont - William (Bill) Arthur Moore joined his Heavenly Father at his home surrounded by loved ones on Monday, June 23, 2025, after a 16-year battle with brain cancer.

Bill was born on Sept. 26, 1962, to J. William Moore and Laura P. Moore, attending Lewisburg Area High School and graduating from Brookville Area Sr. High School (Class of 1980), and later, Bucknell University (Class of 1984).

Bill had a dedicated and varied career, including math teacher, owner of Laura's gift shop (Lewisburg), Pioneer seed salesman, and his greatest passion, farming. Bill loved spending time with his chickens and cows, hunting and fishing, cooking, and music. He never stopped working a day in his life and was fondly known by his family as "Mr. Fix It." Bill had a heart for serving others, which he lived out as an active church member (Hironimus Union Church of Millmont and First Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg), Borough Council member, Little League coach, and by encouraging friends who were fighting the same battle as him — always with courage and grace.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Nancy Moore; daughters Laura S. Moore (Vinny Curtis), Holly (Tim) Passarelli, as well as Kristi (Dan) Sage, Andy (Becca) Webb, Katie (Rob) Jarman; nine grandchildren, and his beloved beagles Sparky and Scout.

Bill was laid to rest in the arms of his Savior, free from pain and sorrow and rejoicing in the peace of returning to his eternal home in a private service at the Hironimus Union Cemetery.
