Lewisburg, Pennsylvania - Wayne A. Williams, 79, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Oak Glen Healthcare, Lewisburg

A native of Sunbury, he was born Nov. 3, 1946, a son of the late David and Florine (Hoover) Williams. He was married to the former Linda Snyder and his death breaks a marital union of almost 60 years.

He was a 1965 graduate of the Sunbury High School (the last of the Owls).

He served in the Air Force and was a Laborer at Pennsylvania House.

Wayne was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Lewisburg where he had served on the Consistory several times, and on many other committees. He collected elephants and enjoyed ocean vacations.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Jeff (Elsbeth) Williams; two grandchildren, Jessica (Jeffrey) Paulhamus and Katelyn (Nathan) Forbes; and six great-grandchildren, Kameron, Caydn, Elliot, Carter, Graydyn, Hannah.

Also surviving are 2 brothers Nelson (Bonnie) Williams, Tim Williams, and 2 sisters Ruth Rathfon, and Wanda (Tom) Kratzer and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Bertoni Williams, in 2024 and a sister-in-law, Lois Williams.

A celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family
