Mount Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania - Wanda J. Hile, 61, of Mt. Pleasant Mills, entered into enteral rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at her residence.

Born on Oct. 15, 1964, in Meiserville, she was a daughter of the late Lester L. and Shirley M. (Sheriff) Stroup. On Sept. 18, 1982, she married the love of her life, Brian M. Hile, who survives.

She was a 1982 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School.

Wanda began her working career at the local sewing factory and later was employed for Excel-Champion Homes from 1996-2024, where she retired.

Wanda enjoyed traveling, visiting the casino, tending to her flowers and garden, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, who truly were the center of her world.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Matthew (Caitlyn) Hile; brothers Darwin Stroup, Donald (Sharon Rauch) Stroup, and Dennis (Audrey) Stroup; a sister Sharon (Dwayne Brady) Hile; and two grandchildren, Nicolai and Avalynn.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Palmer Stroup.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Wanda's hospice team and her home caregivers, Bonnie and Brenda, for the exceptional care they provided to Wanda.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
