Wallace Heffner, 86, of Camp Hill, passed away on Thursday July 9, 2020, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born on October 14, 1933, in Sunbury, he is the son of the late James and Florence (Christian) Heffner. Wally was a 1952 graduate of Northumberland High School.
He was retired from W.O. Hickok Machine Shop. Wally was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Lemoyne. He was a huge Penn State football fan and enjoyed woodworking.
Wally is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn A. (Scholvin) Heffner, of Camp Hill; a daughter, Kim S. Yoder and her husband Tom, of Enola; a brother, Chris Rowe and his wife Julie, of Camp Hill, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday July 14, 2020, in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with the Rev. Lewis Park officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in St. John's Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
