Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - Vickie Lee Hess, 70, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia.

Vickie was born on Sept. 22, 1954, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Robert O. and Claribel (Martz) Raup. She was a 1972 graduate of Shikellamy High School and a graduate of Bloomsburg University.

On June 5, 1976, she married Charles Russell "Rusty" Hess, who survives. The couple were married 49 years at the time of her passing.

Vickie retired from the Family Practice Center, Selinsgrove as a receptionist. Vickie was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church and was currently attending the Selinsgrove Church of the Nazarene.

She was a loving wife, mother, and mom-mom. Vickie was a leader, super motivator, and the biggest fan of her children and grandchildren. On any night, she could be found at a ball field or school events for her grandchildren. Her smile and kindness were contagious, and she touched the lives of everyone she met.

In addition to her loving husband Russ, Vickie is survived by her four children, twins Troy (Valera) Hess and Nicholas (Katherine) Hess, Matt (Kristen) Hess, and Erica (Michelle) Hess-Gross; nine grandchildren Chase Hess, Molly Hess, Owen Hess, Ben Hess, Claire Hess, Piper Hess, Sami Hess, Lucy Hess and Paxton Hess-Gross a sister Lonna Fisher; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Richard Fisher.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral service at 2 with Pastor Randy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow the service at Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
