TyAnn A. Schneider Obituary
Sunbury, PA - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of TyAnn Schneider, a beloved mother, daughter, and wife, who departed this life on May 5th, 2025, at the age of 53. Surrounded by family and friends at home, she left peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering kindness.
TyAnn was born on February 18th in Sunbury, the cherished daughter of Suann Schreffler and Paul Stiely. From an early age, she radiated warmth and compassion, touching the lives of everyone she encountered.
As a devoted wife to Michael Schneider, her love was constant and true—a partnership built on mutual respect and deep affection. As a mother, she was a guiding light to her daughter, Sydney Schneider, offering gentle wisdom, unconditional love, and endless support. She especially cherished watching her daughter grow, spending a lot of her time watching Sydney play softball -- never missing a game and always being her loudest cheerleader.
TyAnn had a deep love for her entire family—including her in-laws, Sandra and Michael Schneider, her nephews, Quentin Schneider and Kurtis Witmer, and her spouse's family, Brian Schneider and Melanie Picton —who quickly became her own. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave everything to ensure their happiness and well-being.
TyAnn was also a loyal friend, a generous soul, and a woman of quiet strength and grace. Her laughter filled the room, her words offered comfort, and her presence was a source of calm in an often-chaotic world.
TyAnn was a graduate of the Line Mountain Class of 1990 and completed nursing school in Washingtonville. She was employed as a CDI Specialist at Geisinger Medical Center. She was a member of Saint Paul's U.C.C., Urban. She also had a special place in her heart for the beach. Whether it was a stroll on the beach, collecting shells with her daughter, or simply soaking in the sun, the ocean brought her peace and joy. Family beach trips were among her most treasured memories—moments filled with laughter, love, and the simple happiness of being together.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.
As per TyAnn's request, services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in the Saint Paul's Cemetery, Urban.
