Tiana Marie Frey Obituary

Puyallup, Washington - Tiana Marie Frey, 33, was born on April 19, 1993, in Lancaster, California, and passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at UW Medical Center - Montlake in Seattle, Washington, with her family and son by her side. She most recently resided in Puyallup, Washington, and had previously lived in Danville, Pennsylvania. After a courageous 18-month battle with gastric cancer, Tiana went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Tiana fought with incredible strength, courage, and determination until the very end, living life on her own terms until the Lord brought peace to her spirit. Her resilience, compassion, and unwavering love for others will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Tiana attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton, Pennsylvania, and had an unwavering faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith carried her through life's greatest joys and most difficult challenges.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Ethan Frey and AlinaRae Barnes; her father and bonus mother, Joseph Frey and Aracelly Trujillo; her mother, Dolores Nickerson; her brothers, Michael Nickerson and his wife, Jasmine; Shawn Nickerson; Matt Nickerson and his wife, Jackie; Jadon Frey; Roman Trujillo; and Ean Trujillo; her sisters, Kiara Frey and stepsister Jennifer Wong; her aunt, Roxanne Gemberling; and her cousin, Brandy Spaid, who were her cherished sidekicks in Pennsylvania; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, coworkers, and loved ones who will deeply miss her.

Tiana graduated from Lancaster High School and most recently worked for Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pennsylvania, where she faithfully dedicated 11 years of service caring for others.

Tiana had a tremendous love for animals, especially cats, and was a devoted mom to her seven beloved fur babies. She never met a stray cat she could ignore and was always quick to provide food, water, and shelter to any animal in need. She also had a deep appreciation for Filipino food and culture, often happily driving hours just to explore a new Filipino restaurant or grocery store.

Tiana loved with an open heart and always tried to see the good in people, even during life's most difficult moments. Although her time here was tragically cut short, her love, kindness, and memory will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her. Some of her final words were, "Love grows in small houses."

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Tiana's friends and coworkers at Geisinger in Danville for the countless hours, donations, kindness, and support they provided, allowing her to remain on paid leave while receiving chemotherapy treatments.

A private ceremony will be held in Tiana's honor at a later date at the convenience of her family.
