Lewisburg - Thomas R. Adams, 82, of Lewisburg, entered into rest on Sept. 14, 2025, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village.

He was born on June 17, 1943, in Detroit, a son of the late Kenneth L. Adams and Rita I. (Tietsworth) Adams. On Feb. 11, 1961, he married the former Helen M. Simko, who survives. Tom was a 1963 graduate of Sunbury High School.

He worked as a supervisor for PPL, overseeing the construction of plants, and dedicated 30 years to the company before his retirement.

Tom was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Sunbury, a Life Member of Tall Cedars, and a Life Member of East End Hose Company, Sunbury.

He was of the United Methodist faith. He was a humble man who tried to live his life following Jesus Christ as his example.

Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and carpentry. Above all, he was family-oriented and deeply valued time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife Helen, are three sons: Richard T. Adams of Sunbury; Chris and wife Cara Adams of Yukon, Okla.; and Dale and wife Jill Adams of Shamokin Dam. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Barry L. Adams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Thomas's memory may be made to the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village Benevolent Fund, 189 Tressler Boulevard, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
