Penns Creek, Pennsylvania - Terry L. Wagner, 81, of Penns Creek, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at his home surrounded by loving family.

Terry was a 1962 graduate of Middleburg Joint High School. He worked as a milkman, manager at the sewing factory, and ran as an EMT with the Penns Creek ambulance, but his true joy was working on cars. He ended his official career at Village Service Center, but those that know him know he never retired. He detailed cars in his own garage until his last days.

He was stubborn and opinionated, as all great men are. He was never afraid to tell anyone how he felt, and he did what he wanted, when he wanted. He loved golfing with his foursome buddies and hunting at his hemlock tree for 66 years with his hunting pal, Stevie. He loved to spoil his fur grandchildren, Phoebe, Rocket and Sushi. But most of all, he loved snowmobiling; the colder, the better.

He would do anything for anyone who needed it, no matter what. He was always there when his family needed him, from picking up mounts at the taxidermist for his grandson, to cheering his granddaughter on at races, to dropping off donuts at his daughter's work every birthday. If you were in his presence, you were always well fed and certainly never thirsty. And if you parked your car at his house, it usually left spotless.

Nobody loved life and their family more than him. He packed all the life he possibly could into his 81 years. He always made sure his loved ones knew how proud of them he was. It is indescribable how much he will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Wagner; sister, Bonnie Mateljan; daughter, Andrea (Brian) Arbogast; grandson, Tyler (Chelcea) Arbogast; granddaughter, Karli (Blake) Hunter; niece, April (Jim) Clark; and great-nephews, Charles and Thomas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola (Dye) O'Hara, and his father, Stanley Wagner. He and his wife would have celebrated 59 years of marriage in November.

A viewing will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. at Hummel Funeral Home, Middleburg, followed by a funeral service at 2 with Rev. Brad Brought officiating.

Interment will be in Penns Creek Union Cemetery.
