Terry L. Beaver Obituary

Lewisburg, Pennsylvania - Terry Lee Beaver, 83, of Lewisburg, formerly Route 522 Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at EverTrue Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg. He was born on January 31, 1942, in Sunbury, a son of the late James J. and Verna (Wagner) Beaver. Terry was a 1959 graduate of Sunbury High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. On August 23, 1964, he married the former Vivian J. Gemberling, who survives. The couple were married 60 years at the time of his passing.

Terry retired from PP&L as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Selinsgrove. Terry was also a member of the Selinsgrove American Legion Post 25, Selinsgrove Moose Lodge 1173, Sheriff's Association, DH&L Ambulance League, and Hummels Wharf Fire Company.

He lived a very giving life and believed in Faith, Family and Friends. What he enjoyed most in life was spending time with his family, especially when he was by his loving wife's side and serving god. He served on church council and the kitchen committee, and was a member of the mixed adult Sunday school class where he and his wife made lifelong friends. His greatest joys were his grandchildren and his 1965 custom Chevy Chevelle, which he purchased shortly after marrying Vivian. His happiest moments often involved spending time at Rehoboth Beach, and riding around with his beloved dogs Patches and Shasta. Upon retirement, he volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Loaves and Fishes, and the local food bank. As a cancer survivor, he volunteered and participated in Relay for Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society. In his free time, you could find him caring for his yard, shooting pool and hitting golf balls.

In addition to his wife Vivian, Terry is survived by his two children Matthew (Heidi) Beaver of Mifflinburg and Jennifer (Scott) Bernstein of Lewisburg, two grandchildren Samantha Bernstein of Florida, and Wyatt Beaver of Mifflinburg, two brothers James (Florence) Beaver and Kenneth (Mary Marlyn) Beaver, and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Beaver.
