Tamara Ann Abromitis was born at Evangelical Community Hospital, in Lewisburg, Pa., the daughter of John and the late Marianne (Jacoski) Abromitis, formerly of Selinsgrove.

She attended Selinsgrove Area schools and the Pennsylvania State University from where she graduated with a degree in communications and a minor in dance, which she cultivated at an early age at the Moyer Institute of Dance in Sunbury, Pa. At Penn State she was a member of the Penn State Dance Theater. Upon graduation she moved to Arizona and worked in several endeavors near to her heart. She loved sports and sports promotions where she worked part-time with the Fiesta Bowl, Salt River Field at Talking Stick during baseball spring training, and at KDKB radio as a promotions assistant. She also worked at the Mulcahy Law Firm in Phoenix as a paralegal, a legal assistant at Maxwell and Morgan in Mesa, Ariz., at Carpenter, Hazelwood, Delgado & Bolen in Tempe, Ariz., as a litigation paralegal, and Yeager Marketing in Scottsdale, Ariz. in several positions. She also managed to sneak in some part-time seasonal work with the Arizona Cardinals Football Club in Glendale, Ariz., in Box Office sales and customer service.

Tamara was a life member of the Penn State Alumni Association, past president of the Phoenix Chapter of the PSAA, Board Member of the Phoenix Chapter, and a team captain of the Chapter's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. A few of Tamara's volunteer/support organizations included Ballet Arizona, The Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, and the ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Tamara was preceded in death by her mother, Marianne; her maternal grandfather, Edward Jacoski of Shamokin; her maternal great-grandparents, Paul and Victoria Yucha of Shamokin; her paternal grandparents, Charles and MaryAnn Abromitis of Shamokin; an uncle, Charlie Abromitis; and a step-sister, Brittany Derck.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, John and Evelyn Abromitis, of Parrish, Fla.; her grandmother, Mrs. Rosemary Jacoski of Shamokin; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Elizabeth Abromitis of Shamokin Dam; a step-brother, Zachary Derck and his wife Megan Derck of Palmetto, Fla., and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tamara's life will be conducted at some time in the future.
