Sunbury - Steven "Steve" Sidney Rohrbach, 73, of Sunbury entered into rest on Friday, May 1, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 9, 1952, in Sunbury, the son of the late Sidney and Beulah (Snyder) Rohrbach. Steve was a 1970 graduate of Shikellamy High School. On Aug. 28, 1970, he married the former Lois J. Spancake, who survives. The couple were married 55 years at the time of his passing.

Steve was employed as a plant equipment operator at PP&L and later with Wisconsin Power, and Corona Power LLC, all of Shamokin Dam, retiring after 41 years as an Instrument Control Technician.

He was Founder and past President of Bikers Against Child Abuse, Susquehanna Valley Chapter.

Steve enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and traveling to Harley Davidson rallies and spending time on one of his favorite islands. But most of all, "Poppy" loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandsons.

In addition to his wife Lois, Steve is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Jason and Angela Rohrbach; a daughter Carey Yerger; two grandchildren, Jade Rohrbach Snyder and Sydney Bingaman; three great-grandchildren Chase, Braylan, and Alex; a sister and brother-in-law Diana and Glenn Cunningham; two sisters-in-law, Donna Long and Cathy Beeler, and several nieces and nephews.

Per Steve's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Steve to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, Md., 21741.

The V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St. is assisting the family with the arrangements.
