Sunbury - Steven A. Hunter, Born Aug. 2, 1952, the son of the late Robert I. Hunter Sr. and Eileen (Lipsett) Hunter, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, on July 28, 2026, following a brief illness.
He was a 1972 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Steve was known for his talent in carpentry and house flipping. His forte was building jelly cupboards and other custom pieces of furniture. He enjoyed playing the lottery and scratching off tickets.
Steve could be seen hanging out with his friends at Puff's. He loved his cat, Snowball.
At this time, no services are planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers, Mostly Mutts or a charity of the donor's choice.
