Selinsgrove, Pa - Stanley R. Rohrbach Sr., 86, of Grangers Road, went to be with his Lord and Savior October 26 at Brookdale Grayson View, where he resided for one month.

He was born January 8, 1939, in Sunbury, Pa., a son of the late Frederick H. and Estella(Kashinsky)Rohrbach.

Stan was a 1956 graduate of Sunbury High School and graduated from Paul Smith College with a degree in forestry.

Stan spent his career as a park superintendent at three different state parks, Hills Creek, Prince Gallitzin, and finally Shikellamy State Park, where he retired.

He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, golfing and mowing grass in his retirement years. He looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Canada with his best friend, Dick Weir, who stayed a part of his life until the end.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, the former Nancy M. Dressler. He is also survived by a daughter Mary Jo Pittiglio and a son Stanley Rohrbach Jr., 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stan will be held at St.Matthews Episcopal Church, 32 North Front Street,Sunbury on Saturday, November 8 at 10am with visitation preceding from 9:00-9:45am, and a reception following. The Reverend Dina Carter Ishler, Rector of St.Matthew's will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church.
