Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - Shirley L. Hummel, 73, passed away on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at The Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was born Nov. 23, 1952, in Lewisburg a daughter of the late Herman and Ruby (Michael) Hauck. On July 15, 1978, she married Lester A. Hummel who preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2009.

Shirley was employed as a patient aide at Sunshine Corner Assisted Living, Sunbury.

Formerly she attended Emmanual Bible Fellowship Church.

She is survived by; one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony R. and Michele L. Hauck, of Selinsgrove; three grandsons, Anthony Hauck Jr. and wife Amber, Jared and Ian Hauck; great-grandchildren, Raegan, Teagan, Aubrie, and Jordyn; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Diane Hauck, of Sunbury, and her two sisters and one brother-in-law, Candy and Leon Geise, of Northumberland, and Susan Bixler, of Sunbury.

Funeral services will be conducted at a later date in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

Arrangements are by the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
