Lewisburg, Pennsylvania - Scott Seebold passed away peacefully at his home on July 24, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and friendships. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Glenn W. Seebold, and his mother, Helen R. (Rice) Seebold.

Scott proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve (USAR) from 1963 to 1969. Following his military service, he enjoyed a long and dedicated career with the U.S. Geological Survey, retiring after many years of service.

Scott found great joy in the outdoors and treasured the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, tending to his beautiful flower gardens, and spending time watching sports. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or enjoying a quiet day outdoors, he appreciated every moment and found happiness in life's everyday blessings.

Those who knew Scott will remember him most for his kind heart and gentle soul. He possessed a quiet strength, a warm smile, and an approachable nature that made others feel welcome. His generosity, compassion, and steadfast friendship touched countless lives, and his memory will remain forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Scott's life was defined by service, kindness, and love. While he will be deeply missed, his legacy of compassion and the many lives he touched will endure.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Shaw Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Interment will follow immediately thereafter at New Berlin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewisburg Little League in Scott's honor, so that future generations may continue to enjoy the game he so deeply loved.
