Scott David Hollenbach, 63, of Selinsgrove, entered into rest Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at his home.

He was born March 12, 1960, in Sunbury, a son of Joan Lorraine (Wilt) Hollenbach and the late Arthur James Hollenbach Sr.

He was a 1978 graduate of Selinsgrove High School and attended Susquehanna University. Scott was employed on July 8, 1995, at Susquehanna University and recently retired on Aug. 22, 2023, after 28 years as Associate Director of Event Management.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1173, Selinsgrove. Scott loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed attending family dinners, dancing, parties, and trips to the beach. Scott also enjoyed pet sitting and had a love for cats.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by three brothers, Arthur Hollenbach Jr., Todd (Wendy) Hollenbach, and Steven Hollenbach; three nephews, Garrett (Maggie) Hollenbach and their children Boe and Beckett, Tyler Hollenbach, and Jason (Tiffany) Hollenbach and their children; one aunt, Darlene Yoder; and his cat, Sylvia. He was preceded in death by his two cats, Sawdust and Buddy.

Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Scott Kershner, Chaplain Susquehanna University officiating.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
