Sandra Dawn "Sandy" Jones, 53, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

She was born Nov. 6, 1962, in Reading, a daughter of Raymond Miller, of Mohnton and the late Doris (Yoder) Miller. On Oct.. 20, 1990, she married Charles Jones.

Sandy graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1980 and worked as a food service worker with the North Schuylkill School District.

She was devoted to the Lord, and was a member of Friendly Holiness Church of Helfenstein and an active volunteer at Beulah Camp. Sandy also volunteered with Northumberland County Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Sandy enjoyed cooking, crocheting, any type of needle point, and going camping.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Matthew and Rachel Jones, of Seven Points, and Daniel Jones, of Ashland; and one brother, Glen Miller.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, followed by the funeral at 10, at the Friendly Holiness Church, 6908 Upper Road, Shamokin, with the Rev. Kent Straight officiating.

Interment will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park Sunbury.
