Sally L Starr (Frey), 65, of Sunbury, PA passed away unexpectedly on October 12, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center.

Sally was born August 17, 1959, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late John C and Rose M Frey.

Sally retired from the State of Pennsylvania in 2019 where she was employed as a civil service worker since 1984. She graduated from McCann School of Business with a paralegal degree.

In her spare time, Sally enjoyed sewing, horseback riding, attending church, and spending time with her family, friends, and her pets, PJ and Poppy and a feral cat, JiJi.

Sally is survived by her children, Daniel Kline, Brandy Spaid, James Cooper (Jawana), and Heather Cooper (Delmar). Her siblings, John (Cheryl), Bill, Joseph (Aracelly), Susan, Sandy, and Roxanne. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a loving ex-husband, Timothy Kerstetter Jr. and two step children.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her daughter, Heidi Spaid and two Aunts, Martha Wagner and Sally Snyder.

Services will be private and held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local ASPCA.
