Ruth A. Trego, 77, of Northumberland, passed away peacefully Monday, May 13, 2024, at Evangelical Community Hospital.
Ruth was born Dec. 5, 1946, in Sunbury, to the late Wesley J. and June E. (Jarrett) Rothermel.
On Nov. 17, 1989, Ruth married Alfred J. Trego, who preceded her in death.
She was a 1964 graduate of Sunbury High School. Ruth worked 38 years for the Social Security Administration.
She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton.
Ruth is survived by a daughter, Michelle McCall; a granddaughter, Molly Brown; a brother, Alan Rotharmel; Matthew and Elizabeth Trego and children, Morgan and Jack; Vince and Susan Trego and their children; and Desiree Trego, as well as an uncle, an aunt, two nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her husband and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Rothermel.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
