Mifflinburg - Ruth Irene Troup, 64, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 12:42 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026, at home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1961, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Frances (Ross) Shuck of Lewisburg, and the late Doug Bridge. On April 4, 1985, in Selinsgrove, she married Michael K. Troup Sr., who survives.
Ruth was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
She attended the Mifflinburg Church of the Nazarene.
Ruth enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, Michael K. Troup Jr. of Mount Pleasant Mills; one daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Jason Chestnut of Mifflinburg; four grandchildren, Julia Chestnut, Allison Chestnut, Norman Troup, and Nicole Chestnut; one brother, Greg Bridge of Lewisburg, and one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Clifford Ruhl of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Duke Troup.
Services will be private.
