Lewisburg, PA - Rose DiStefano, 99, of Lewisburg, died Monday, May 11, 2026, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

She was born November 30, 1926, in Camden, NJ, a daughter of the late Philip and Eleonora (Pallottini) DiBerardino. On September 12, 1953, she married Angelo R. DiStefano who predeceased her on November 6, 2021. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Jim Moore, of Punta Gorda, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Ann DiStefano, of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Barry, Jimmy, and Sandra; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose was a 1945 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Camden, New Jersey. She spent much of her adult years caring for and taking care of her family. Rose was an avid reader and benefited greatly from routine delivery of books from the Union County Library. During her final years, she often recalled many fond memories of family, school, dances, and growing up in a first-generation Italian-American family during the great depression and World War II. Being the youngest of 6 siblings, Rose's longevity meant that she lamented the passing of each of her four dear sisters, sister-in-law, brother, and brothers-in-law.

A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on June 4 at Sacred Heart Church, 814 St. Louis Street, Lewisburg. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10 am prior to the mass. Rose will be interred privately in Arlington National Cemetery, with her husband.
