Elizabethtown, PA - Ronita L. (LaBar) Crabb, 83, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Penn State Medical Center, Hershey PA.

She was born Ronita Jean on July 24, 1943 to the late Kenneth L. LaBar and Edith P. (Hagood) LaBar in Newton, NJ. On December 9, 1961 she married Donald E. Crabb in Mifflinburg, PA.

Ronita graduated from Mifflinburg High School in 1961 and the Sheffield School of Interior Design in 2004. She worked for several photographers and subsequently owned and operated her own photography business, retiring in 1998.

Ronita loved and was devoted to her family. Ronita enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles, usually with her beloved dog, Daisy, on her lap. Everything she pursued, she excelled. She was an accomplished seamstress and a master knitter. She often could be seen knitting as she read a book or was watching TV. After retiring she enjoyed her time knitting with friends and with the knitting group in Florida. She not only knitted sweaters, scarves and blankets, she also knitted dolls, felted slippers, purses and handbags, anything that would pique her interest. Her interior decorating skill is displayed throughout her home and she also enjoyed her flower gardens. She loved collecting glassware, especially Fostoria glass, with numerous and various patterns displayed around her home. She belonged to the Fostoria Glass Society and served several terms on the board of directors and as Acquisition Chairperson for the Fostoria Glass Museum. She always looked forward to helping at the museum and associating with Fostoria friends. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida and also time at the family cabin in Centre County, PA.

In addition to her husband and a sister, Sharon Wolfe, she is survived by two children, Selina M. (David) Johns, and Michael E. Crabb (Linda); and two grandchildren, Timothy Pittenger, and Michael Pittenger (Stephanie).

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
