Middleburg, Pennsylvania - Romayne G. Kline, 90, of rural Middleburg, passed away on Friday, May 16, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
She was born April 4, 1935, in Franklin Township Snyder County, a daughter of the late George A. and Hattie C. (Walter) Gemberling.
Romayne attended the Hassingers School in Middleburg and graduated from Middleburg High School.
On Sept. 8, 1957, she married William L. Kline, who preceded her in death Nov. 8, 2003.
She was employed at Kreamer Feed for 43 years, retiring in 1999.
She was a former longtime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in New Berlin and had more recently attended Trinity Church of Winfield. She was active in the Penns Creek Senior Center.
Surviving are three children, Lori A. Baer, of Cogan Station, Lana L. Kline, of Middleburg, and Logan (Brenda) Kline, of Muncy; six grandchildren Dana (David) Smith, of Williamsport, Justin Baer (Corey), of Pine City, N.Y., Melissa (Krystin) Montoro, of Williamsport, Kristina (Ryan) Heimbach, of Trout Run, Courtney Baer (Cory Engler), of Williamsport, and Zachary (Maggie) Kline, of Hughesville; 16 great-grandchildren Colin, Lucas and Alexa Baer, Gabriel and Cameron Smith, MacKenzie Baer, Waylon Engler, Kylee, Rylan and Alayna Heimbach, Lily, Aisley, Shyla, and Finn Kline and Callie and Jackson Montoro; sisters-in-law Stanley and Sis Bingaman and Sonja Kline; and a special cousin, Marjie Jean (Gemberling) Walter.
She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Harold and Betty (Kline) Gemberling.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
There will be another viewing from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday at Trinity Church of Winfield, 24 Route 304, Winfield, followed by the funeral at 3 with Pastor Zachary Woods officiating.
Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
