Roger L. Laudenslager Obituary
Roger L. Laudenslager, 83, of 155 Kasey Dr., Sunbury, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 7, 1941, in Pillow, to the late Henry and Elizabeth (Weist) Laudenslager. He attended Lower Dauphin schools.
On July 20, 1991, at Salem Methodist Church, Salem, he married Anna Smith, who survives. He worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Stonington Baptist Church in Stonington.
In his pastime Roger loved riding his motorcycle, gardening in his yard, and playing cards with his family.
In addition to his wife, Roger is survived by two sons, Scott Laudenslager of Sunbury, and Troy Laudenslager of Palmyra; daughter, Theresa Smith of Sunbury; four grandsons, Austin Smith, Lavar Smith, Mardai Smith, and David Laudenslager and his wife Mackenzie; seven granddaughters, Corina Smith, Mshia Smith, Madison Smith, Olivia Smith, Shelby Eberhart and her husband Justin, Rudi Laudenslager, and Sydney Santos and her husband Kevin; four great-grandsons; two sisters, Carol McMillan, and Rochelle Laudenslager; and a brother-in-law, David Zook and his wife Thelma.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Laudenslager; and two sisters-in-law, Martha Hostetler, and Ida Zook.
Services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
