Robert "Bob" Leroy Brouse, 90, of 280 Ridge Ave., Sunbury, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at his home.

Born in Kratzerville on Nov. 30, 1934, to the late Palmer and Alberta (Moyer) Brouse. He graduated from Sunbury High School in 1953. He served in the United States Army.

On May 11, 1958, in Trinity Lutheran Church, he married Patricia Long, who preceded him in death. Robert was the owner and operator of Sunbury Electric Company. He was a lifetime member of the Americus.

Bob was known by many for his woodworking skills, and could often be found working in his shop. Along with his sons, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a fan of Penn State sports, enjoyed gardening, and going to breakfast with his friends. Bob loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by three sons, Michael Brouse of Sunbury, Matt Brouse of Sunbury, and Marc Brouse and his wife Karen of Sunbury; three granddaughters, Jessica Reigel and her husband Luke, Brittany Bahner and her husband Jim, and Jordan Reed; two grandsons, Brett Reed and his wife Kelsea, and Colton Reed and his wife Micalea; four great-granddaughters, Ella Kantz, Maci Kantz, Clara Reed, and Leah Reed; four great-grandsons, Jamie Bahner, Owen Bahner, Carson Reed, and Parker Reed; a sister, Ruth Kuhns; his best buddy, his cat, Fritz, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bob is preceded in death by his father-in-law, and mother-in-law, Fred and Ethel (Saxton) Long; a brother, Gene Brouse and his wife Barbara; brother-in-law, Bud Kuhns; and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Karpinski and her husband Clem.
