Robert A. Gula, 75, of 157 N. Center St., Natalie, passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

He was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Natalie, a son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Smutz) Gula.

Robert attended Mount Carmel Township School. He was a lifelong resident of Natalie who worked as a heavy equipment operator for PennDOT.

On Feb. 14, 1970, he married Christine Carey, who preceded him in death. On May 27, 2000, he married Linda (Trego) Bellve, who survives.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and football. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed watching his grandsons play football for MCA. He loved spending time on the river with his family and friends.

Robert was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, a life member and Chief for 25 years of Natalie Fire Company, a life member of Marion Heights Fire Company, a member of Keystone Fish and Game Club and the Sunbury Social Club.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Gula of Natalie; a daughter, Angela Kelley and husband Robert of Kulpmont; a step-daughter, Beth Kaczmarczyk and husband, Dustin of Marion Heights; a stepson, Aaron Bellve and wife Jennifer of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Christian Kelley, Matthew Kelley, Olivia Bellve and Sadie Wetzel; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gula of Natalie; three nieces, Lori Gula, Rose Thompson and husband Ed, and Sharon Bressi and husband Vinny; and a nephew, Dan Gula and wife Mary Jean.

In addition to his first wife and parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Gula; and a sister, Irene Dargoskie and husband Larry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
