Robert M. Boardman, 73, of Front Street, Northumberland, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Bob was born June 27, 1951, in Sunbury, a son of the late Robert and Betty (Thatcher) Boardman. He had a union with Denise (Moyer) Boardman for more than 50 years.

He attended Shikellamy High School. Bob was employed by local businesses including Paulsen Wire Rope, Conrail and Wood-Mode.

Bob enjoyed fishing and watching old movies.

In addition to his wife, Denise, he is survived by two sons, Robert and Jonathan Boardman; four daughters, Dawn Marie Heard, Angie Eyer Jones, Roberta Rosancrans, Gillian Boardman; step-daughter, Nicholas Guinn; four sons-in-law, Michael Guinn, Shane Renn, Brent and Dave; grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia, Austin, Erika, Kelsey, Kaiden, Bella, Dea, Willow and Bishop; four step-grandchildren, Aaron, Ashley, Luis and Alyssa; three great-grandchildren, Everleigh, Jameson and Naomi; nine step-great-grandchildren, one sister and two brothers-in-law, Barbara and Tracey Miller and Russell Moyer, his best friend.

He was preceded in death by his son, Joshua.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Sunbury American Legion, 611 Market St., Sunbury, PA 17801.

Arrangements are by the Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
