Selinsgrove - Robert Anthony "Rob" Margel, 50, of Selinsgrove passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was the son of Edward John and Michaelene Jane (Wargo) Margel. Rob was born on Dec. 3, 1975, in Port Jefferson, New York.

He was a 1994 graduate of Selinsgrove High School and attended Pennsylvania College of Technology and Susquehanna University. He owned and operated Margel's Trucking, Selinsgrove, and was also employed with FSTI, Inc. Avis, Pa. He attended St. Pius X Catholic Church, Selinsgrove.

Rob enjoyed working on his various trucks. His greatest joy was spending time with his son Oliver and dog Sugar.

In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by his son Oliver Margel; two brothers John (Becky) Margel and Jeffrey Margel; three nieces Brianna Margel, Julia Margel and Alexis Margel; a nephew Antonio Margel; great-nieces and great-nephews, his girlfriend Donna Reed, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 112 Fairview Drive, Selinsgrove, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Joshua Cavender Celebrant. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.

The family is establishing a custodial account for Rob's son Oliver at Central Penn Bank & Trust, 87 Lori Lane, Selinsgrove, Pa., 17870.
