Richard Roy Hess
Richard Roy Hess, 86, of Liverpool, entered into rest on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born April 19, 1933, in Lancaster County, a son of the late Roy and Margaret (Everhart) Hess. He was married to the former Florence M. Miller who survives. The couple were married for 64 years at the time of his passing.

Richard was the owner of Hess Welding Shop, was a Polaris Snowmobile dealer, and a tomato farmer.
He was a member of Evendale Bible Church, Richfield.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by 12 children, Ronald R. (Dawn) Hess, Victor A.(Donna) Hess, Donna J. (Doug) Wood, Darla K. (Brad) Maxwell, Neil A. (Tone) Hess, Donald I. (Sherry) Hess, Douglas R. (Andrea) Hess, Dwayne S. (Susie) Hess, Daryl E. (Kelly) Hess, Darwin L. (Christy) Hess, Dean C. (Tuti) Hess, and Jonathan K. (Jenny) Hess; 58 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, M. Roger Hess and his wife Leona; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one sister, M. Ruth Trissler.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Richfield Life Ministries Church, 167 Church St., Richfield, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 25, with Pastor Jim Beck officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Liverpool.

Memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Richard to Evendale Bible Church, 1289 Sand Valley Road, Richfield, PA 17086.

The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills have been entrusted with the arrangements.
