Raymond Shenck Obituary
Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania - Raymond "Pete" C. Shenck, 82, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
He was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Carlisle, a son of the late Raymond C. and Geraldine (Wingerd) Shenck. On July 10, 1965, he married the former Dorothy Ellis, who survives.
Pete was a 1960 graduate of Carlisle High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1965.
Pete was employed as a computer service engineer at Honeywell for 30 years until retirement.
He was a jack of all trades and was always busy with projects.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 60 years, are one son, James L. and Sadie Shenck, of Mifflinburg; one daughter, Brenda M. Shenck, of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Donald Mackey, of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Anthony and Cassandra Shenck, and Wyatt Shenck and Rebecca, all of Mifflinburg; three great-grandchildren, Mason Shenck, Mackenna Barrows and Derek Shenck.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Joanne Garner, Nancy Frownfelter, Donna Madison, and Susan Reisinger.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg.
