Sunbury, Pa. - Ralph Henry Goodison III (Randy), 58, of Sunbury, passed away on July 16, 2025.
Randy graduated from Shikellamy High School and SUN-Area Vocational-Technical School in 1984. While working for Shoemaker Industries, he also graduated from the Welding program at Williamsport Area Community College (now Pennsylvania College of Technology). Randy was one of few chosen to open a Shoemaker Industries plant in Greenville, South Carolina. He later continued welding for Low Country Concrete in Beaufort, South Carolina. Randy returned home to Sunbury to work for Raker Industries.
Randy was pre-deceased by his beloved mother, Patricia Rhoads Goodison.
He leaves behind a daughter, Mckenzie Kaitlin Goodison, and two grandchildren, Aleia Grace Goodison, 9, and Keaton Alexander Goodison, 8; a father, Ralph H. Goodison Jr.; a sister, Merrilie R. Goodison; two nieces, Grace Elizabeth Bittle, and Michaela Joy Whaley (Kyle Whaley); a nephew, Lucas Bittle (Rhiannon Bittle); great-nephew, Maddox Cole Bittle, 4, and a great-niece Eila Sorrine Bittle, 3.
Randy loved spending time with family, especially his precious daughter, Mckenzie, hunting and fishing with his dad, the family cabin (Stone Camp), four-wheeling, dirt-biking, gardening, the Philadelphia Eagles, mentoring and helping others, welding and fixing just about anything, all with his black lab, Cooper, by his side.
Randy will be deeply missed by his buddies, friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church (upper church hall), 967 Mile Hill Road, Sunbury.
In lieu of cut flowers, the family requests rooted plants, flowers, vegetables that can stay alive with the family or be planted in our memorial garden at the cabin, or donate to your local food bank or outdoor organization in his name.
