Quinn Angela Fisher Obituary

Quinn Angela Fisher, 65, of Northumberland, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at the Geisinger Hospital, Danville, surrounded by her family.


Quinn was born May 13, 1959, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, to the late Joyce R. (Lose) Fisher and Abram P.W. Fisher. The first two years of her life she lived in Selinsgrove with a growing Fisher family, then raised in Northumberland. Quinn graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1977 with honors.


She had several high level office manager jobs at the Keystone Forging Company Inc. in Northumberland and Contek/Agtek Selinsgrove.


Quinn is survived by five of her siblings — her two sisters, Jo A. Fisher and life partner Dennis L. Whyne and Toni A. Snyder; brothers, Keene C. and wife Debra E. Fisher, Tread W. and wife Beate I. Fisher and Travis P.W. Fisher, Northumberland; many nieces and nephews — nieces, Lea R. Plagens (Keene) of Williamsport and Rayna L. (Keene) and husband Jeff McLaughlin of Old Lyme, Conn.; nephews, Derek W. (Tread) and wife Jenna Fisher and Brandon K. (Tread) and wife Ashley Fisher, all of Northumberland.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Burr Dane Fisher; and her brother-in-law, John R. Snyder. Quinn had special friends that have helped her throughout her life, Russell Brosious and Kathy Gammon.


She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and hiking. She proudly decorated her home for every season and holiday. She had a huge collection of albums from the 1970s and 80s. It was a variety of rock n roll but especially The Beatles, John Lennon being her favorite.


With her love of the kids in our family, donations can be made in her name to the Shikellamy Little League, c/o: Jen Feaster, P.O. Box 345, Northumberland, PA 17857.


At personal request, all flowers should display her favorite color of purple.


Family and friends can pay their respects on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 11:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Point Township, Northumberland.


Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland, with a private gathering for the family afterwards.


Arrangements are by the Epler Funeral Home, Northumberland.
