WATSONTOWN — Phillip R. “Butch” Abramo, 71, of Main Street, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at his home. Born Jan. 2, 1944, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Philip and Twila (Walker) Abramo. Phil was a 1962 graduate of South Williamsport High School where he played football and wrestled. He worked for Trailway’s in Williamsport and New England Motor Freight in Muncy. He enjoyed hunting and being in the mountains. Phil was a social member at the Watsontown American Legion where he enjoyed spending time with his friends. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Karin and Albert Randall Jr., of Millmont; one sister, Grace Pelleschi and her companion Tom Mnick, of Williamsport; two grandchildren, Kelsi and Zachary Randall, of Millmont; two special nephews, Todd and Bryan Pelleschi; and his step-mother, Roxie Abramo. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was one son, Keith Abramo in 2010. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
