Danville - Peggy J. Clemens, 87, of Danville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at her home.

Born in West Milton on Feb. 14, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George and Cora (Hower) Stump. She was married to Clarence R. Clemens. Together they celebrated 69 years of marriage.

She loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Natalie Frey of Middletown; a son Nathan Clemens of West Milton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deon Joy Clemens; four brothers George Alson Stump, Wayne Stumpo, Parvin Stump, and Elwood Stump, and five sisters Mary Boone, Marie Campbell, Roxie Frey, Ellen Brungard, and Verna Satteson.

Services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a local food bank or Camp Victory P.O. Box 810, Millville, Pa., 17846.

Arrangements are under the care of Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton.
