Pauline Hope Clark, 88, of 252 N. Front St., Sunbury, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. 28, 1930, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late James R. and Elizabeth L. (Tropea) Paul. On March 27, 1948, in Shamokin, she married Arthur J. Clark who preceded her in death on July 30, 2018.
Pauline attended Steven's School in Shamokin.
Pauline was a homemaker
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Robert Chemnitz of Hatfield; two sons, Walter A. Clark of Tunkhannock and A. James Clark of Runnemede, N.J.; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Shirley Walburn of Lewisburg; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond James Paul and his wife, Frances.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Farrow-C.J. Lucas Funeral and Cremation Service, 240 W. Chestnut St., Shamokin, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Beverly Petrovich officiating.
Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Coal Township.
