Turbotville, Pennsylvania - Paul E. Watson, 91, formerly of Turbotville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at Vintage Knolls, Danville where he had been residing the past three years.

Born in Turbotville on October 5, 1934, he was the son of the late Myron C. and Georgine (Lyons) Watson. He married the former Mae I. Hollenbach on June 2, 1961 and they celebrated 61 years of marriage until her death on August 13, 2022.

He was a 1953 graduate of the former North Mont High School, Turbotville, and graduated from Lycoming College, Williamsport. Paul served honorably in the US Navy from 1954 to 1957.

He taught mathematics in the Williamsport School District from 1961 until retiring in 1993.

Paul was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post, 323, Watsontown, the John F. Laedlein Lodge #707 F&AM;, Williamsport and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Danjo Wheelers of Danville and Penn Wheelers of Lewisburg. He was an avid hunter.

Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He cherished every opportunity to attend his children's and grandchildren's events.

Surviving is a son, Kirby Watson and his wife Amy; a daughter, Cynthia Cowburn and her husband Jared; five grandchildren: McKenzie Nelson, Samantha Schoeller, Jake Watson, Tyler Cowburn, and Kalie Jeffers; four great-grandchildren: Ethan, Avery, and Amelia Nelson and Zachary Schoeller; a brother, Myron F. Watson, and three sisters: Doloris Metzger, Edna Keister, and Barbara (Watson) Royer.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville and from 9:30 to 10:00 AM Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 10275 PA Route 44, Watsontown, PA where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Muncy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to his church.
