Patrick  Gargano
Patrick Gargano, 90, of Lewisburg, passed away at this home on Wednesday evening, Oct. 30, 2019.
A native of New York City, he was born March 31, 1929 a son of the late Dominic and Margret (DiJetta) Gargano. He married the former Anna Grosso and his death breaks a marital union of 70 years

Patrick was a building maintenance engineer for 35 years and a member of Engineer Union Local 94.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church Lewisburg.
He was a sportsman of all sports, both as player and fan. He loved thoroughbred racing, an industry he participated in for more than 70 years. He love dancing to big band music, old movies, but his greatest enjoyment was his family with whom he spent every free moment, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Patrick Gargano and his wife Vicky, Anthony Gargano and Mark Gargano; five grandchildren, Larissa, Patrick, Jimmy, Lauren, and Anna; and one great-grandchild, Nicholas.

Friends and relatives will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg with the Rev. Mark Wilke as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. the following Saturday.

Donations in Patrick's memory may be made to Lung Cancer Research, unit of donor's choice.
