West Grove, PA - Patricia Geisler Brown, 96, left this world for more adventures on Monday April 13, 2026, at Jenners Pond, PA.

Patricia Leone Hiatt was born on 22 September 1929 in Iowa but as a young girl she moved with her parents Lyle and Mabel Hiatt to Lewisburg, PA. As a teenager she was active in dance and other activities and like many teens in that era participated in activities to support the war effort. She graduated from high school in Lewisburg and then attended Bucknell University. She graduated with a B.S. in chemistry in 1950 and worked as a research chemist.

On September 29,1951, she married George Charles Geisler also a graduate of Bucknell University. She continued to work until the birth of their first child and then became a full-time mother to that child and the four more children that followed.

She became very involved as her daughters' girl scout leader and went on to pursue a master's degree at Penn State University in Parks and Recreation in 1977. She was employed by the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council and later the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York. She retired in 1986 to take care of her mother and move to Arkansas with her husband who preceded her in death in 1988.

In 1998 she reunited with and married her friend and high school classmate from Lewisburg, Forrest Brown.

She was known for being ready for anything, and for her can-do attitude, her intelligence, her independence, and her kindness.

There will be a funeral mass celebrating her life at her church, Sacred Heart Church in Oxford ,PA, and a graveside memorial/celebration for family at the Lewisburg Cemetery at a later date. There she will be interred alongside her first husband.
