Norman Franklin Walt
Norman Franklin Walt, 80, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Jan. 6, 2020, at 3:31 a.m. at Fox Subacute Unit in Mechanicsburg.
Norman lived at the Selinsgrove Center for many years but due to medical problems was moved to Mechanicsburg.

He was born Nov. 28, 1939, in Sunbury, a son of Elmer F. and Sarah E. (Behrent) Walt.

Norman is survived by a sister, Shirley E. Renninger of Millmont; brother, Larry L. Walt and wife Diane of Sunbury; brother-in-law, William Troutman; his two favorite nieces, Tina Marie Harner and husband Bernie, and Whitney Marie Troutman Ray and husband Zachary; and a great-nephew, Lucas Alan Ray.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kevin Lee Loss in 1968; nephew, Harold Bailey; brother-in-law, William F. Renninger in 2014; sister, Bonnie Lou Walt in 1996; sister, Maryjane Bailey in 2015; and a brother-in-law, George F. Bailey in 2019.

A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral a 2.
Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
