Norma J. Spriggle, 90, Lewisburg

Norma J. Spriggle, 90, formerly of Beavertown passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27 at Oak Glen Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lewisburg.

She was born June 7, 1934 in Benfer, a daughter of the late Reno and Mildred (Snook) Bailey. Norma was married to Joel Aumiller who preceded her in death. She then married Robert Spriggle who also preceded her in death.

Norma was a graduate of Beaver Vocational High School.

She worked as a payroll specialist/secretary at the Beavertown Weaving Mill for 35 years until her retirement.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Beavertown where she served as the organist, pianist and choir director.

Norma was a member of the Pennsylvania Eastern Star and a long-term member of Beta Sigma Phi. She will always be remembered as an avid animal lover.

Surviving are three children, Dexter (Robin) Aumiller of Naples, Fla, Anthony (Jacqueline) Aumiller of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joy (Noah) Wagner of Etters, PA; seven grandchildren, Michele (Bobby) Hall of Michigan, Stephanie (Ed) Zarebi of Ohio, Renee (Scott) Mencken of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dayna (Travis) Booth of Conway, SC, Tiffany (Roy) Moyer of Elizabethtown, Alyssa (Tim) Roush of Middleburg, Brandon (Jennifer) Wagner of York Haven; 17 great-grandchildren; one sister, Laverne Freed; multiple nieces and nephews; and her special cat, Precious.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Delbert Bailey.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Beavertown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to honor Norma's memory may be made to the Danville SPCA, 1467 Bloom Rd., Danville, PA 17821.
