Nettie F. Schlegel
Nettie F. Schlegel, 76, of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 1:11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born June 12, 1943, in Shamokin, a daughter of the late John and Florence McKinney.

Nettie was employed in a sewing factory, drove a log truck, and retired from the Selinsgrove and Laurelton State School, where she worked in the dietary department.

Surviving are one daughter, Georgia Schlegel; two sons and daughters-in-law, Chip and Jodi Schlegel, and Montana and Janice Schlegel; her best grandson, Chase, who always made her day; and her favorite niece, MaryAnn Hayes.

A celebration of life for Nettie Schlegel will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Carriage Corner Restaurant, 257 E. Chestnut St., Mifflinburg. Memorial and stories to be shared at 4:30, with light refreshments following. Chip, Georgia, and Montana welcome friends and family to attend.

Burial in Lincoln Chapel Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg.
