Nancy M. Brown, 89, formerly of Milton, passed away on Dec. 15, 1924, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehab Center. Born on Feb. 14, 1935, in Tremont Twp., Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Jennie (Kocher) Sr. She was married to Roy Brown who preceded her in death in 1978.

Nancy attended schools in Tremont, and she was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, serving as chaplain and poppy chairman, and the Women's Club in Milton. Nancy was a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Milton. She enjoyed going for walks, and was a great baker, especially her Christmas cookies. She was an avid fan of Penn State football. Nancy loved her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by five children, Ronald and Joan Brown of Bloomsburg, Susan (Brown) and Robert Metzger of North Carolina, Kerry and Bonnie Brown of Milton, Scott and Carolyn Brown of North Carolina, and Kimberly (Brown) and Rick Bennage of Milton; a brother, Steve Boyer of Tremont; 11 grandchildren, Angela, Cinde, Bobby, Leigh Ann, Eric, Emily, Gregory, Luke, Brandon, Breana, and Nikki; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Nancy was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karissa Bennage; two brothers, Theodore Boyer Jr. and Leroy Boyer, and a sister, Dorothy Ludwick.

Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Milton Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning St., Milton where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary Schaeffer. Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. in Jacob's Cemetery, Pine Grove.
