Minnie M. Seibert Obituary

Minnie M. (Hepner) Seibert, 100, of New Columbia, formerly of Herndon, went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 22, 2019.

She was born Feb. 2, 1919, in Pillow, a daughter of the late Jacob and Marietta Tamor (Shaffer) Hepner.


Minnie was employed at Dalmatia Blouse for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, sewing, gardening, shopping, sharing her baked goods and garden produce with family, friends and neighbors.


She is survived by her husband, Llewellyn Seibert; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Mark Mattern of Herndon, Betty and John Long of Shamokin, and Cindy and Hershel Baker of North Carolina; stepchildren and their spouses, Gwen and Larry Arnold, Greg and Jamie Seibert, Bill and Kala Seibert, all of Milton, and Ted and Sharon Seibert of Phillipsburg; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by one son, Richard Phillips; one daughter, Leona Wert; four brothers, John, Ralph, Mike, and Harry; three sisters, Ida Kobel, Anna Stettler, and Amy Klock; two sons-in-law, Charles Arnold Jr., and Marlin Wert; and one grandson, Ricky Arnold.


A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 28,followed by the funeral at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown.

Burial will follow in Jacobs Cemetery, Pitman.


In lieu of flowers, contributions in Minnie's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
