Coal Township, Pennsylvania - Michael Ray Nissley Sr., 61, of Coal Township, passed away on July 24, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born between Aug. 6 and 7, 1964, at midnight, at Hershey Medical Center, he was the son of Raymond A. Nissley and Nancy R. McMullen.

Mike graduated from Upper Dauphin High School. He was a delivery person for many local companies.

In 1985, he married the love of his life, Malinda, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Together, they built a wonderful life in which they raised four children. He was proud of his kids, and he adored his seven grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Michael Jr. (Jennifer), Raymond, Jonathan (Kathy), and Roseanna (Daniel); grandchildren Michael III, Logan, Annamarie, Patrick, Jonathan Jr, Maravella, and Rosella; a brother Travis Nissley; sisters Treasa (Felipe) Rivera & family; foster brothers Art (Pandora) Harpold and family, Wes (Sherri) Harpold and family, Terry (Cheryl) Gingrich and family, Curtis Harpold, Tam (Minh) Nguyen and family; and his stepmother Stella and her boys.

Mike was preceded in death by his biological parents; grandparents; and a foster brother, Brian and sister, Melody, whom he adored.

A celebration of life for all families will be held at a later date.
