Selinsgrove - Megan Mary Corl, 42, of Selinsgrove, formerly of Orlando, Fla., died surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, June 15, 2025, after battling cancer. Megan was a 2002 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and attended Harrisburg Area Community College majoring in Hospitality and Food Service. She participated in The Walt Disney World College Program and subsequently worked for the Disney corporation at their Orlando resort. After seven years of employment at Disney she then worked for the McDonald's corporation in Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida, before returning to Selinsgrove entering into Hospice care under the direction of UPMC Home Hospice Services.

During high school and college, Megan was a lifeguard at various community pools. She taught countless Snyder County children how to swim as well as managing swimming lessons at the Selinsgrove Area Community pool for two summers.

Megan is survived by her parents Dennis and Susan (Popovich) Corl of Selinsgrove; her sister Jayne (Corl) D'Elia and brother-in-law Casey D'Elia of Ridgefield, N.J.; her great-aunt Diane Papp of Cranford, N.J.; her aunt and uncle Sheila and Larry Corl of State College and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 112 Fairview Drive, Selinsgrove followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Father Joshua Cavender, Officiant. Burial will follow the service in the Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any of the following charities: Eleventh Hour Rescue-ehrdogs.org; Pointer Rescue-pointerrescue.org, Lab Rescue LRCP-lab-rescue.org or the charity of your choice.

The family wishes to thank all of Megan's health professionals from UPMC for the loving care given to her during her time with Hospice.
