Northumberland, PA - Maynard Emanuel Roush, 92, formerly of Northumberland, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at the Gardens of Millville. Born in Selinsgrove, he was the son of the late Luther and Catherine (Musser) Roush. Maynard was the husband of Doris (Gotwalt) Roush for over 50 years before her passing on August 1, 2004.

Maynard was a graduate of Lewisburg High School class of 1950 and later Parks Air, St. Louis University in 1957. Maynard proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Eastern Industries as a shop supervisor after 30 years of service. Previously he worked at Penn Valley Airport. Maynard was a member of the Northumberland Gun Club, where he enjoyed skeet/trap shooting and was high gun 4 years, 5 time broke 100 straight. He also enjoyed doing gun stock work, woodworking and golfing. Maynard was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lewisburg, PA.

Maynard is survived by three children, David Roush, husband of Sherry of Northumberland, Sharon Smith, wife of Merle of Beaver Springs, PA, and Lisa Dieck, wife of David of Newport News, VA; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, a brother, Larry Roush of Williamsport; and a sister, Elaine O'Neill, wife of Richard of Northumberland.

A graveside service honoring Maynard's life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11 AM at the Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
