Mary Laudenslager Obituary

Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - Mary Kathryn Laudenslager, 97, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.


She was born on Feb. 14, 1928, in Washington Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Henry A. and Marie B. (Moyer) Mull.


On June 24, 1950, she married Bruce E. Laudenslager, who preceded her on Dec. 9, 2008. The couple had been married for 58 years at the time of his passing.


Mary was a 1946 graduate of Freeburg High School. She was formerly employed at Plaza House Department store and retired from the Selinsgrove Center as an activities aide.


She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove, for more than 70 years. Mary was a former Sunday School teacher, served on the administrative board, and was a trustee.


Mary had a passion for genealogy and volunteered at the Snyder County Historical Society until her passing.


She loved her family deeply and enjoyed attending and following her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting activities.


Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Steven (Karen Messner) Laudenslager; a daughter, Debra (Laudenslager) Crabb; four grandchildren Christopher (Malinda) Laudenslager, Thomas (Katie) Laudenslager, Sherwood "Pete" (Stacy) Crabb IV, and Jayme (James) Hile; eight great-grandchildren Tiana (Andrew) Fisher, Kelcie Crabb (Julie Lohr), Logan Hile, Brandon Hile, Adam Laudenslager, and Nathan Laudenslager, Collin Hall and Cameron Hall; two great-great-grandchildren Nolan and Noah Fisher; and many nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by her son-in-law, Sherwood "Pete" Crabb III, and three brothers, Gary, Richard, and Charles Mull.


A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 145 Disciple Drive, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Keyworth officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Selinsgrove. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in loving memory of Mary to Christ United Methodist Church. Arrangements by the V. L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
