Mary Ann Bordwick
Mary Ann Bordwick, 88, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center following a four and a half year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born on Oct. 2, 1931, in New York City, she was a daughter of the late Gunvar and Vera (Kieruff) Johnson. On Oct. 8, 1951, she married Roy Bordwick who survives

Mary was a graduate of Tottenville High School, Staten Island, NY.

Following high school she received her dental assistant certification and worked at a dental office for a year and a half, she then began working on Wall Street as a administrative assistant. After the birth of Carl and Kirsten, she was a full time homemaker. Later, she would work as a librarian at the Piscataway Public Library.

Mary enjoyed going to garage sales, and collecting Danish Christmas plates. Her collection included more than 200 plates.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Carl Bordwick of Mazeppa; and one daughter, Kirsten Bordwick and husband Robert Bolmarcich of Atlanta Ga.

Services will be conducted privately at the discretion of the family.

Funeral arrangements are by Dominick T. Adamo Funerals - Cremations - Monuments, 16 Walnut St., Mifflinburg.
